You've Got Questions, We've Got Answers
What does a travel advisor do, and why should I use one?

A travel advisor handles all the planning and booking so your trip feels effortless — from personalized recommendations to expert support every step of the way.

Plus, travel suppliers build in commission whether you use an advisor or not — so by booking on your own, you're essentially paying for a service you're not receiving. Working with us means you actually get the value you're already paying for.

Do you only book certain types of trips?

Although we specialize in certain destinations — we're always open to helping you explore other options. If it's not in our wheelhouse, we'll be honest — and help point you in the right direction.

Can I book a trip with you if I don't live in Houston?

Absolutely! While we are based in Houston, TX, we work with clients all over the U.S. Our planning process is designed to be remote-friendly with virtual consults, email updates, and easy-to-access digital itineraries — so you can work with us from almost anywhere.

The only exception is Hawaii. Due to state seller of travel (SOT) laws, we're currently unable to work with residents of Hawaii. If that changes in the future, we'll be sure to share the update!

How far in advance should I plan my trip?

The ideal planning window depends on the type of trip, but here's a general guide:

Disney/ Universal vacations: 6-12 months in advance for best pricing, availability, and dining reservations.

All-inclusive and beach getaways: 4-9 months out, especially for high season or holidays.

Destination weddings or large groups: 9-18 months in advance to give everyone time to prepare.

⚠️ Please note: For security reasons, we do not book travel for new clients looking to travel within 30 days. This helps us protect our business from the increasing number of travel-related scams.

Do you charge a fee for your service?

At this time, we do not charge a planning fee for most trips. We're paid through commissions from travel partners like resorts, cruise lines, and tour operators — so you get our expert planning services at no extra cost to you.

If a trip falls outside of what we typically book, requires extensive customization, or is a airfare only booking, we'll always let you know up front if a fee would apply. But for most clients, our services are complimentary.

What happen is something goes wrong during my trip?

We've got your back. If anything unexpected comes up — like a delayed flight, lost reservation, or weather-related issue — we're just a message away. We'll help you troubleshoot, advocate on your behalf with travel partners, and work to get things back on track as quickly as possible.

While we can't prevent every bump in the road, having a travel advisor in your corner means you're not dealing with it alone. Plus, we always recommend travel insurance to give you an added layer of protection and peace of mind.

How will I receive my travel documents and itinerary?

All of your travel documents and itinerary details will be delivered through the free Trip Plans app. It keeps everything in one place  — from flight and hotel confirmations to daily schedules and destination tips. Don't worry if you lose phone service because the app has the option to use it offline as well.
